In 2018, Walter Jehne and I set off on a speaking and listening tour of California, bringing the question “Can We Rehydrate California?” to many different communities. I returned to that topic in the winter of 2025 with a series of workshops focused on water and fire, as the Los Angeles fires were still burning. This winter we are diving back in with a strategy-and-action series of mini workshops, to be followed by an in-person retreat in the spring of 2026.
