I'm super excited to be doing a workshop with Russian Atmospheric Physicist Anastassia Makarieva, a brilliant and groundbreaking scientist, on forest systems and their influence on water and weather. (We finally met on a panel at the premiere of Regenerating Life last year.) We will do an introduction to the biotic pump and living climate, look at the increasing issues of forest fires, discuss rain diplomacy, and the importance of biophilia and a sense of awe in our modern lives.
