Thank you, Nikos, it's wonderful to have you here as a reader and listener, and in the broader community of people thinking about all this. I'm going to be posting the video version of it as soon as it's uploaded--here in the same post.

Warmly,

Didi

Thanks for making this a global discussion.

Key points noted:

CO2 chasing does not cool and tends to become commodified with built in greenwashing driven by profitability.

sponge- water cycles- ground level cooling all get to the heart of the process.

Money paid through the farm bill to support business as usual is a strong impediment to correction the land management- food problem.

Thank you very much for this interview and for persevering in this mammoth crusade to awaken people to the true causes odf global warming. Would it be possible to have info, references or formal statements, in papers or by institutions, regarding 95% of the heat dynamics of the planet being attributed to water ?

Great conversation. I wrote "guerilla greening" down in my notes and hope there are many incursions..

In terms of the creation of the IGBP (International Geosphere Biosphere Program) "IGBP was launched in 1987 to coordinate international research on global-scale and regional-scale interactions between Earth's biological, chemical and physical processes and their interactions with human systems." The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), was launched a year later in 1988. Note the one is "International" while the other "Intergovernmental."

Thanks, Rob, are those dates a correction to what was said in here, or an affirmation/addition?

A bit of a correction. I believe I spoke of them being created at the same time. Rather it was first the IGBP in 1987, and then the IPCC in 1988.
